Hi everyone, Cora here š¶ your loyal on-site supervisor at T&T Roofing Bendigo. While Dillan and Tyler do the climbing and hammering, I keep things running smoothly⦠usually from the comfort of the heater or the ute when itās cold and wet š§ļøš„.
š§ Skylight Leaks Fixed with Dry Pans
We started the week by installing two sets of dry pans on skylights. Skylights are great for natural light, but they can quickly turn into leak points if not sealed properly. Dry pans channel rainwater safely around them, stopping leaks and keeping ceilings dry.
š§ļø New Gutters in Bendigo & Daylesford
Next up, we fitted two new sets of guttering one here in Bendigo and the other out in Daylesford. New gutters mean better water flow, fewer overflows, and less chance of stormwater sneaking back into the home.
š Inglewood Carport Sheeted
We wrapped up the week in Inglewood, finishing the roof sheeting on a carport. Itās already looking sharp with its new cover, and weāll be back Monday to add the guttering and flashings for the final touches. Keep an eye out for the full post next week š.
š¾ Coraās Roofing Tip of the Week
Roofs arenāt just about the big sheets ā the details matter too. Leaking skylights, failing gutters, and rusty screws are some of the most common causes of roof leaks. Fixing them early can save you from major water damage down the line.
Wrapping Up
Even though I spent most of the week supervising from my ādry officeā (the heater at home or the ute seat š¶š„), the boys kept busy making sure homes in Bendigo, Daylesford, and Inglewood are storm-ready.
